The Economics Society of UNSW i(ECOSOC UNSW) is open to everyone who studies Economics or interested in Economic issues.
Our vision for the Economics Society is that it will provide support for students doing any of the economics majors or minors offered by the School of Economics.
The society will also:
promote the study of economics
raise the profile of economics on campus
provide a forum for the discussion of economic issues on campus for all interested people
run events that are relevant for economics students as well as people who are interested in economics in general.
We also hope to be able to showcase the wide variety of career opportunities that are available to economists in order to encourage study of the field.
The menu on the left will help you navigate theis website. Feel free to take a look around and don't forget to sign up if you think ECOSOC UNSW is for you. Membership is free for all UNSW students enrolled in an Economics subject (anything with a course code beginning with ECON), an economics major or minor, or an economics degree.
Associate membership is open to everyone else upon the payment of a $2 membership fee.
